HELP! I may have gotten myself into an embarrassing situation

Okay so I'm just gonna come out and say it... I flush tampons down the toilet. I know I'm an idiot but I swear there was a brand I used to buy that said you could and I just went with that.
I've always done this and it's never been an issue but I've been doing it in my boyfriends house (also for a long time) and the toilet has been getting blocked recently. Only after reading a post on this app did I have the shocking realisation that this might be my fault 😓
But even if it's not my fault, if a plumber has to come fix this surely my tampons will still be stuck somewhere and I'll be to blame? His sister flushes weird stuff down the toilet (I saw a straw before 😅) but I really don't fancy explaining myself for this 😭.
So does anyone have a solution? Maybe theres stuff I can flush that will break the tampons down? I'll take all I can get because my next resort is becoming a plumber myself 😂
