Period + Rafting

So I am going on a 6 day rafting trip in August and my period is scheduled to start on the first day of the trip. We are on a raft all day (for around 8-9 hours) and don't have a "private bathroom" till we stop at night. I know I'm going to have to wear tampons put how will I change while I'm on the river. Any suggestions on what I should do? Thanks.
