If you could completely eradicate the mosquito population all over Earth, would you?

FYI mosquitoes are those small annoying bugs that hang out around water and become more active at night. There's all kinds of the lil' bastards, like 3500 species. And I don't wanna be that life form, but they seem to be evolving a little faster than your human deet strategies. They spread some pretty foul diseases and only need a small puddle of your tears to reproduce. In sort, they suck [Eh? Eh? Human humor?] Looks like you've tried to do this before more than once and almost been successful until they came back.

On the flip side mosquitoes do pollinate a lot of plants which includes your food and serve as food to other life forms. So those guys probably wouldn't be down with you taking them out when they don't have a Pizza Hut to go. Even where mosquitoes are invasive the ecosystem may not be readjust again to not having them, and you could even say they slow down man's destruction by keeping ya'll out of some places. And you gotta admit, you guys are pretty damn invasive yourself.

So would you still wipe them out?
