How often should you go to routine appointments during pregnancy?

pregnancy?" /> Help me settle a debate between my husband and I. He thinks once a month is too often since there is "not much the doctor could do" that we couldn't do at home e.g. blood pressure,  weight, measuring the belly etc.

Tell your husband if he isn't a doctor or midwife  then he has no say. Generally up until month 5-6 you go every month. Then it's every 3 weeks, then every 2 weeks. The last month is every week. Just give him this information as a warning.

Well tell him the doc does much more than that. Like makes sure your baby is fine and heartbeat is good. She listens all your symptoms and makes sure everything goes as it should. 
They also do bloodtests and stuff. I am 7months and found out i have diabetes, no signs, i ve only gained 10lbs etc etc.
Tell him that luckily you only go once a month...in the future you will go every 2 weeks and then last month every week. 
I go twice a month to see gyn and then teice my dietitian and once a month ultrasound to keep track on babies growth since i have GD.

Lol. Your husband isn't the doctor or midwife. Therefore he doesn't know what's best for you in this aspect. & btw I went once every 4 weeks until about 28 weeks started going every two weeks .

Honestly I agree with your husband all my appts are a waste of my time.
