Cycle is 6 days shorter this month?

So my last cycle (that ended in May) lasted 36 days, and I ovulated on CD 17. The cycle that ended this month lasted 30 days. Does that mean my ovulation day might come 6 days sooner? Or does it not necessarily mean anything?
