Progesterone hormones?

Hi ladies... So I had a miscarriage 5/2014 and they weren't sure why it happened and now I'm 4w2d and my hcg levels are over 700 but my progesterone level dropped... So I'm assuming that's what happened last time... They're prescribing me progesterone to help. My question is have you ladies had this and did it help keep your baby stick? I'm freaking out that even with the supplements I might lose another baby.. 😔

yes I had that with my son hes now 5 months 😀 Also have that with this one now

I've been on progesterone suppositories (400mg 2x a day) since 4w5d because my hcg was high and progesterone was low. This is my first ever pregnancy. I'm 12w5d today, I went to my OB yesterday and they said everyrhing is looking great and once I finish the suppositories I have left I'm done with them. Counting down to friday morning lol.

From what I understand, they don't help prevent mc, they just help support a viable pregnancy.

I miscarried in march...not sure if progesterone is to blame but my previous doc was less than helpful and wouldn't even check! I got pregnant again immediately which was a shock after we tried for over a year before our miscarriage...but I switched Doctors and had a progesterone level of 10 at week 6 so super low....i am on 200mg suppositories 1 time a day until 16 or 20 weeks whichever my new doc says. 
I'm now 10 weeks (miscarried last time at 8 weeks baby stopped growing at 5) and so far so good. Wishing you the best hun!
