Hair problems??

So I haven't been cleared use of my HSN from It Works yet since I'm breast feeding. After I had my son I'm losing globs of hair now. I hate it. It's not in one area, it's just that I'm losing a whole lot!!! I know it's hormones and all that but I wanted to know if anyone else has this problem and wha did you do to help it?? Every time I shower I just get a hand full of hair that I'm losing. It's nasty!!!

Before I got pregnant I had the same issue. A form of alopecia, I went to dermatologist and had injections done. I was also losing clumps of hair. Its embarrassing as hell. Also take the strongest mg of biotin. That's what I was told, I didn't try the regrowth treatment. I was also told whey protein helps as well.

You tend to retain hair and lose less than normal while pregnant. Once you deliver and the pregnancy hormones are gone all that retained hair is lost. It feels like you shed tons, this happened to me for both pregnancies. My hair wasn't thin and I had no bald spots, but it felt like you should be bald so much hair fell out. It's totally normal. You can continue to take prenatal vitamins to help boost nutrition, and maybe add a supplement meant for hair and nail growth, but check with your doctor, since you are breastfeeding. The hair loss will slow back to normal amounts soon.
