Fussy baby and vit d??

Did anyone else find a correlation between their baby being very gassy, not sleeping well and fussiness after giving vit d???

I'm glad you posted this, I didn't think about it but my baby has been seriously colicky since starting them. Very fussy.

It could be harsh on their tummies. Taking them out in the sun for 30mins-1 hour will do good. If you are breastfeeding, you can supplement yourself with 6500 ius a day. That is the amount that will ensure your baby gets it as well. I did this and Sun exposure when I could

omg yes! My baby has taken them the last 4 days and had been sooo fussy, wont sleep more than 10 mins at a time during the day now, cries constantly and is so gassy and not sure if its a coincidence but got a ton of baby acne the last few days too.

We are stopping the drops we were prescribed after reading tons of similar stories online. Plus there are a lot of chemicals in them that I try to avoid myself, so on my little baby they must be even worse. Switching to Carlson brand, they are just a single drop a day and the only other ingredient is coconut oil, instead of 1ml of crappy chemicals!

The vit d drops makes them really gassy I stop giving them to my daughter her tummy would be so hard and she would be so fussy and I asked her pediatrician and she told me that it tends to make the babies gassy

I'm so glad you posted this because I was wondering about this as well. I just told my husband today that I'm not doing the vitamin d drops again because it made my son very gassy and he seemed to struggle more with bowel movements after two days of drops. We're just going to do a few minutes of sun exposure each day. From what I have read 30 minutes per week is sufficient depending upon your location and skin complexion.
