I asked my midwife the same question last week she said you can take the normal amount labled on the packet.

I'm a midwife you can safely take 1mg of paracetamol (2x 500mg tabs) 4-6 hourly if required. We give it to women all the time on the ward who are pregnant.

nurse here - 2 paracetamol up to 4 times a day will cause no harm xx

There's certain medications that you should only take with your doctor knowing about it and this would be one of them
