Emotionless man????

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 6 months now, we've known each other for close to a year though and we now live together, have for about 3 months. We're more than happy, we've never had a big fight or a small one, really. We have a cat and a pig that we both smother and we spend all of our time together, 24/7 side by side and we constantly say we can't get enough of that. He shows me so much affection sometimes, the sex is amazing (and frequent lol) but for whatever reason, he still hasn't told me he loves me. It scares me. I mean, he must feel that way, right? He did ask me to move in, he did get a kitten to raise together, so why hasn't he told me he loves me yet? I keep thinking, "I should just say it first" but then I think, what if I ruin some plan he has to say it? Ugh someone please give me some advice, I'm going crazy!
