My sweet baby boy Austin, will be two weeks tomorrow. My water broke at 8:50 am on Wednesday June 8th and I was finally dilated at a ten by almost midnight that night. They told me to get ready to push and kept saying how he was so close he was, they got me a mirror and sure enough, I could see his tiny head!! It was so beautiful. I pushed and pushed until I just couldn't push anymore, then I had realized that I had already been pushing for over six hours. They called the doctor in and brought a vacuum because they though they would surely get him out. Another hour of pushing with the help of a vacuum and still nothing. By 7 am June 9th, doctors said that he wasn't coming out and it was time for a C section. I was so scared. 

My amazing fiancé was with me every step of the way though and I knew I was going to be ok. Fifteen minutes later, I heard that cry and I knew everything was finally over and it was finally time to say that my family had been started. I've never been so grateful in my life. Having had miscarriages in the past, he is my rainbow baby. My little miracle. A rough pregnancy with preeclampsia and a very hard labor but it was all so worth it. I love my little family.
