Matthias 6/17/16

On the 16th I had my 36 week appointment and was 3 cm and 80% effaced. Friday morning at 5:45am I went to get out of bed and my water broke. Within a half hour my contractions were coming strong about 2-4 minutes apart. As soon as my husband got back home we left for the hospital and by 10:42am I was holding my baby in my arms! By the time they had checked me at the hospital I was 9cm dilated and so ready to push. I pushed for an hour and it was intense but I'm fortunate for such a fast labor since I wanted to do it naturally. We had to stay in the hospital until Tuesday because he had high levels of bilirubin but he's completely fine now 😊
