Can I ask dr to be put on bed rest?

I have a high stress job, 28 weeks pregnant. I know stress isn't good for baby. Would it be appropriate to ask my doc to put me on bed rest?

Usually they only do if medical necessary.  Maybe see about light duty or switch jobs.

My dr restricted my work hours due to the stress.  I would at least have the conversation.

I believe if you go on best rest your FMLA starts. It did with my last job per policy. So I lost a week with my baby because I went in bed rest a week before I delivered. If you are concerned look into your options and talk to your doctor but also make sure you know your company policies.
