When you wipe your makeup off at night...

When you take off all your makeup at night, do you ever think you look beyond hideous?

My friends told me when they remove their face at night, they feel hideous and think they're ugly.

It would be a lie if I said I didn't like my face with makeup better than without. Hormones gave me bad adult acne that has been difficult to get rid of. However, I have learned to accept it and be pretty happy with my naked face too, at least for the most part. Telling yourself you're ugly is incredibly unhealthy, so I made a point to stop doing it in high school. It has made life so much better.

No. You have to feel confident in your own skin. Yes I wear make up, but I think it's a art, and fun. We are who we are and you have to love yourself. I've been guilty of thinking I'm ugly every now and then, but God created me how I am. If God loves me then I have to love me too.

In my experience, many women who wear make up get used to seeing their dark circles covered up, bone structure highlighted, hiding pudge they like to pretend isn't there, like their eyes dynamic and popping, etc.

Without make up we see ourselves as we are.  And those who try to cover up or live in denial of poor food choices, late nights, dehydration, stressful life, etc don't look as good as they wish.

Best way to have healthy glowing skin and sparkling eyes etc is hydration.  Pure filtered water - the equation to keep in mind is your body weight in lbs, divided by 2, in ounces.  So 150 lbs, means 75 ounces of pure filtered water a day.   It can improve skin and decrease dark circles.

Not really. I like my bare face as much as I like my make up face. I have a lot of freckles that I love. So I hate covering them up.
