HR help possibly?

So I am a group lead for a group of people for a manufacturer. Last month a new girl started and as soon as she did our other older employees didn't like her from the start. They would talk about her behind her back. And be really snotty towards her. I told this to my supervisor, he just said to monitor it. It was getting worse. They never picked on her in front of her face but still when she was away. I told them they need to stop. Finally one day, the girl just up and quit and walked out. This was a month ago. She said she had came to me and I did nothing. I talked to the group of women and told them they need to stop. After this, a lot of what they did was when I was away. 
Well anyways, a month later my supervisor is asking me questions about this and a lot of quart ions about a few girls involved. . I'm super confused as to why a month later he is asking. This girl up and quit. I told them what happened the day she quit. 
I asked why and he said it couldn't say. Any ideas? I worry about everything so I'm not worried I could be losing my job because I "didn't do enough". That or this girl is trying to collect unemployment. Please help if you have any ideas!! I get married tomorrow so I'm freaking out that I'm going to lose my job.
