Falling down a weight spiral.
I'm 17. I'm a bigger girl. I managed to maintain a weight of 255 for over a year which was a big deal to me cause I just always gradually gained weight. I told myself that I'd never let it get worse and I was very careful about monitoring my weight and my portions.
I got rid of my scale cause every day when I stepped on it I would just be sad cause I don't like my weight. So I decided to pitch it and focus on "feeling" healthy.
Fast forward a week later, I go to the doctor for other reasons, and it says I gained 12 pounds. I was mortified. I am 267. I told myself I would NEVER get to this weight and nothing in my diet changed so I don't know what happened. I used to have anorexia and binge eating disorder but I beat that in 2012 which ironically is when I gained all my weight. Seeing that number put me into a panic and I told myself that I needed to be healthier and even considered a relapse.
I'm a stress eater so naturally when I got home I ate a bunch of junk food then told myself the next day I was going to be healthier.
The stress eating has been going on for over two weeks and I can't stop. I feel disgusting so naturally I just feed the feeling to numb it and make it stop.
Exercise is my problem but I have severe asthma and feel embarrassed anytime I try to be active because I hyperventilate and even create chest pains which can scare me. I can't fit in any of my sizes at the store anymore and even jumped up a size. I'm trying extremely hard not to relapse and become anorexic again but I feel hopeless and don't know what to do. I tried counting calories and I gained weight from that some how. My boyfriend loves the way I look but I feel embarrassed he has to be seen with me. I need help. Someone please tell me how to fix this before I fall back into a problem.
P.S. I know this is my own fault. I know I'm the reason why I'm bigger, so please don't put hateful or mean messages. I just need help.
