Discolouration of menstrual cup cleaning?

Okay so I've been using my Meluna cup for about a year or so now. My cup has been starting to get some staining. I boil it with vinegar and salt which has defiantly slowed down the staining process but hasn't really stopped it as such. I was looking for ways to get rid of staining and I found that letting it sit in 3% hydrogen peroxide gets rid of the staining almost completely! However, the lady that I found online that used this method used a Diva Cup which is already white. But my Meluna cup is blue. If I leave it to sit in hydrogen peroxide will I change the colour of my cup at all? And also does hydrogen peroxide react differently with TPE than it does with medical grade silicone? Thanks!!!
