Who here has anxiety and has panic attacks?

I've had panic attacks a lot recently and just want to know who else has them and how bad they are. Mine get to the point I get really sick and throw up. If anyone else does have them could you tell how you get past it or relax or anything. Thanks

Its gotten to the point were I get anxiety just thinking about going grocery shopping.

I don't have them often but when I do they're bad. I read this thing one time where it said when you know you're starting to have a panic attack focus on your senses find 5 things you can touch 4 things you can hear 3 things you can see 2 things you can smell and 1 you can taste and by the time you're done with that you're calm again. I thought it was complete bs but the next time I had one I tried it and it actually worked. Everyone is different so it may not work for you but it's worth a shot because it actually worked for me.

Mine started from my husband wanted to leave me almost 2 years ago to me coming to terms with it after a couple months and then we got back together to meat earmarked wanting to leave him which after about 6 months we got back together and were about 70-80% of the time happy it I have a lot of anxiety attacks here and there and in sure he does too just not recently. There were times we each wanted to commit suicide through it, I didn't feel any thoughts of suicide until o was trying to leave him so at the same time him and I were crumbling emotionally. We still have some issues but we're working through them together and we both love each other very much.

When I have one I can't calm down myself. It goes on for hours at a time and my husband has to grab my Xanax for me.

Right before I posted this I had a panic attack and got to feeling really sick and ending up taking a long hot shower and sitting on one of those shower chairs with my head between my knees. It helps me. Feeling the hot water on my back and face. Also I take Sertraline and I only take it after I start to feel the anxiety or the coming on of a panic attack.

I hug my knees to my chest tight and breathe. If that doesn't work, I get up and move or start to clean. The activity helps refocus the nervous energy. If that doesn't work, sometimes I have to let it ride. I just keep saying to myself "this is temporary,  this is anxiety, it will pass"
