Pregnancy???

Question

I'm 16 and I figured I was pregnant because I usually use birthcontrol but the guy I've been with came inside of me multiple times right after my period so I stopped taking birthcontrol because I didn't want to hurt the baby if their was one. I've been very sick to my stomach and have abdomen pains. I've been exhausted too but that might be from work. I'm bleeding very lightly but usually the first day of my period is extremely heavy... Could I still be pregnant??? I've also been off the pill for about 5 days...

the point of birth control is to not get pregnant. you have more of a chance to get pregnant now since you stopped taking it...

You were taking birth control. He came in side of you. The birth was controlled. There was no "baby" to "hurt". Birth control 'controls' the sperm from not fertilizing your egg. Birth control also 'controls' your period. Stopping the pills will make your period, quite literally, out of control, resulting you to bleed sooner than you would've if you continued taking it. Next time he releases his sperm inside you keep taking the pill because that's the whole point.

You do realize the by taking the pill you wouldn't get pregnant even if a guy came inside you? That's the point of birth control. You should take a test and if you're not pregnant then go back on birth control. It prevents you from ovulating so you don't get pregnant.

Birth control pills will not hurt your child if you are pregnant, and if that's something you don't know you should not be having unprotected sex. Sperm can live inside of you up to four days. By stopping your birth control, you could have made it more likely you got pregnant, depending on when in your cycle this happened. You should wait at least 5 weeks from the possible conception to take a test.

What was the point on you getting on birth control if you're just going to stop taking it when a guy cums in you? The point of birth control is to prevent pregnancy, yes? So don't stop taking it when a guy cums inside. It's common sense. If you do end up pregnant though, the pill wouldn't harm your child. You just stop taking it as soon as you find out obviously.

You don't 'figure' you're pregnant you need to get a test because if you weren't pregnant before you could be now by stopping taking the pill.

You are most likely not pregnant. When you're on birth control it usually takes about 3-9 months to get pregnant if you're trying. However just to be safe take a pregnancy test, and use a condom in the meantime. A condom will not harm the fetus if in fact you are pregnant

The purpose of birth control is to prevent pregnancy even if you use no other protection. If you don't take it it doesn't prevent pregnancy. Your post sounds like you were intentionally trying to get pregnant. Even if you are pregnant you can safely take birth control and it won't harm the baby. At 16 you should ALWAYS be using condoms, preferably doubled with birth control in case of breaks. If you can't be responsible about sex then you should probably wait until you're older.
