Are you your SO's "type"?

Question

Most of us have a "type" that we are attracted too, specifically when it comes to looks.

If your SO has opened up to you about their type, did you match the description?

(I am curious because I am NOT my husbands type. And to be honest, it kind of messes with my head that I am nothing like what he is usually attracted too)

Nope. Not at all he prefers girls with dark hair skin and eyes and I'm the complete opposite of that! He says he doesn't have a type but all his ex girlfriends are exactly how I explained 🤔 it doesn't bother me because he still picked me and that's all that's important

Nope. Not at all.
My SO had only ever dated thin girls with really small boobs. Most of them were blonde and tall. The vast majority of them did hard drugs (so did he at the time). 
I am none of those things. I am short, brunette, I've never done a hard drug, my boobs are painfully large, and I'm curvier than any of his exes. 
It definitely messes with my head sometimes and it has made me a little nervous to do certain things in the bedroom. 
I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and lived a fairly unsheltered life for someone in Mormon Central because my family was not Mormon and we owned a bar. 
My SO grew up in Fresno, California so comparitively, I know NOTHING about "the streets". And there is a huge difference between myself and his previous partners. Yeah, it can be discouraging.

My husband is not my type but I love him so much and personality wise, we're so good together. I was nervous to go out with him at first because I was afraid I wouldn't be physically attracted. All of those fears went away. If your boyfriend wants to be with you, we wants to be with you! Don't let the physical stuff mess with you too much- there's so much more to love and attraction than physical traits. I am physically attracted to my husband, even if at first I wasn sure. I'm positive your boyfriend is physically attracted to you, even if you took him by surprise. Every woman is beautiful and he obviously sees it in you!

Neither of us have any consistency if you look at our dating past. Anytime one "type" didn't work, we looked for something different.

I'm not my bfs type to an extent. He told me he likes girls that are not to skinny not to big and has long hair. Well I definitely don't have long hair I didn't even when we met and I am bigger than him. But he told me that surprisingly my short hair works for me and he likes it alot.

Amazingly, somehow we still managed to be attracted to one another and just fit together as a couple. I wouldn't change it for the world.

My SO said he never really had a type in the beginning (i didnt believe him lol) but now he's opened up and said that I am his type 😊 He's sort of mine, I've always wanted a guy with blue eyes (which he has) but as far as hair goes i wasn't too picky. I always liked guys with either dark hair or blonde hair, my ex had dark and was horrible so im glad my SO now has light brown haha

My SO is a model. His face is my type but I prefer a shorter guy. His ex is a Mosel so I'm guessing he likes taller girls. I've outgrown the insecurity that comes with comparing.
