I am beside myself. - how did you tell your partners?

I'm still shaking as I type this. I can't tell anyone yet because we weren't even going to start trying until next month but this is absolutely the best surprise I've ever received!!! This is the one place I can let it all out.

So I'm planning to tell my husband this weekend. Here's my question for you. How did you tell your partner? And if you could do it again differently, what would you change?

My hubby didn't get to know until he got home from an underway. I put together a goodie bag that had an item that said daddy on it, gender neutral shoes,a funny kids book,and a card with little baby feet on it.

I told my SO by putting all my positive tests in an evelope and writing a letter on it talking to him as if I were the baby.. He loved it! I wanted him to feel involved, and be excited about being a daddy! It worked! I just told him how excited I (baby) was to meet him, and I (baby) was so happy he was my daddy, and I (baby) just couldn't wait till I (baby) was here so he could hold me (baby). Stuff like that. Silly,  but he talks to the baby all the time and I love it, and I think he's so comfortable because I introduced it so early. I heard sometimes with the first the father doesn't feel as connected to the baby while it's in the womb as the mom does, so I wanted him connected. It's both of ours first child. We are so content, and our hearts are so full. Congratulations! It's fun.. 😊❤️
