What does this mean?
I'm 35, have been TTC for 9 1/2 years, and have PCOS. Thru metformin & healthier eating (Yay paleo!), I've lost more than 100 lbs, and in April, I managed to get pregnant... but it was a blighted ovum. I delivered the placenta at home early 6/3 (CD2), after a half day of heavy bleeding. Bleeding lasted 5 days, and spotting ended 6/11 (CD10). I started temping/charting 6/10 (CD9) to track ovulation & figure out when to expect AF.
Over the last year my cycles have been 27-33 days, with most lasting 30. I'm showing a folicular phase of 16 days, and a luteal phase of 14 days (use to be 10).
On 6/21 (CD20), I finally heard back from my doc that I didn't need a d&c, and he advised waiting 3 normal cycles before resuming TTC. I wasn't sure about waiting that long, but I was willing to wait till after AF. (BTW, would that be a "normal cycle", mc to AF?)
On 6/23 (CD22) my temp dropped (96.46), which usually indicated I will ovulate that day. It went back to stable (97.4-97.7) for the next 3 days, then it spiked (98.21) this morning.
Here's the thing... Thinking that I'd already ovulated, DH & I had sex w/o bc 6/24, 25 (CD23, 24), which happens to be the same timing as April, if I, in fact, ovulated last night/this morning.
The other thing is that I don't know if I should anticipate AF 7/6, based in the temp drop, or on 7/10, based on today's spike.
