Membrane sweep, should I ask?

I will be 38 +6 at my appointment on wendsday, I am so ready to have this baby but I'm also in the process of buying a home. There is no rush for me to leave where I'm at other than its cramped but I can leave things here and move slowly into the new house once I close on it. Should I ask for a membrane sweep and just get this over with (i know it works 50% of the time) or should I just wait it out which could be at any random moment? Also what are your expierences with membrane sweeps?
