TTC sex everyday or every other day?

My husband and I are TTC, he's military and is about to leave for a month in 3 days, however I did my cycle of clomid and don't want to waste this month. We went to the doctors today and she said there are 4 follicles and we should start having sex every other day, but in the TTC book we have says we should do it everyday. What's your opinion?

My dr recommend every other day and then when you get a positive opk, 3 days in a row.

Everyone is different, that's for sure. But in all my years trying, I believe that every other day until ovulation. Then when u get a positive surge, everyday for that day and 3 days after. Good luck to u and hubby

Hubby and I did it everyday for 9 days straight during my fertile window and conceived! Everyone is different. If the man has good sperm count than everyday should work. If he doesn't than every other day. You can get pregnant from having sex just once a day or so before ovulation. Just have fun!

Every other day is more than enough. But if you have the time and energy for everyday and there are no sperm issues it won't hurt or improve your chances.

Everyone is different. Especially depending on age. People say that sperm needs so much time to mature but that is simply not true for everyone. Younger people who are healthier, are perfectly fine to have sex every day when TTC (in most cases). My husband and I had sex every single day during my peak week and got pregnant the first month.
However, if your doctor said to do it every other day, that is best because he knows your bodies and the book does not.

I was on letrozole and timed intercourse. My fertility doctor recommend 4 days in a row. But we also did ultrasounds to measure follicles so we knew when to start the 4 days. My husband and I were both military for 2 years of ttc. Seemed like every fertile week we were away from eachother lol.
