My day started with a headache but that was pretty usual with my high BP. It's been high the last 3 weeks of my pregnancy. I showed no protein in my urine so we didn't expect pre-eclampsia, except that's exactly what happened that day. I was given the pill against my cervix at 1.5 cm, 4 hours later with no progress pitocin was hung. I labored 13 hours with no epidural, 5 hours with it, and had the urge to push when they said I was 7cm. I pushed 40 min as they assisted me stretching! I received 24 stitches and a beautiful baby boy! Skylar Joseph, 7lbs 1oz 21" long! Born at 8:40am June 22, 2016 🍼
