Birthmark?

My baby was not born with this. We noticed it slowly showing up at about two weeks old. Everyday it gets darker. Is this a birthmark or something I should take him in to get looked at?

I'd have doc check just in case, but it looks like a birthmark to me. My son has several that didn't show up until a bit after birth-- it's like they were there but super light and got darker or something.

Have you consulted your Peds or Dermatologist? It looks like a birthmark, possibly called cafe au lait? My son has one quarter size mark on his thigh and smaller ones on his legs and arm.

I have birthmarks that tan. I don't have them until I'm in the sun so it may be one of those
