Am I too young to have a baby?

I was talking to this woman at my work about kids and what not, I told her that my husband and I are trying for a baby right now. She then says well, how old are you. I reply telling her I am 26 and my husband is 30. She says oh, you are too young you still have so much time. But I replied that my husband is almost 30 and doesn't want to wait too long to have a baby. She said once you have a baby everything is about the baby, the money, the love and all of your time again saying I'm too young and should wait. I don't understand why I should wait, my husband and I have been together for over two years, we are married, I have my education and work in my career, my husband has a great job,  we have traveled together and even lived in a different state together, we both are financially and mentally stable, we have a house and are ready for this next step in our lives and in our marriage. What is there to wait for?
