Newborn clothes?

Question

I'm 33 weeks with di/di girls. My baby shower I received nothing but 3/6 and 6/9 month clothes. Newborn clothes that I've purchased they have 2 going out outfits, and maybe 4 packs of 5 count onesies. Do I need more newborn? My doctor said the girls are more then likely going to be on the small side maybe 5 pounds each. FTM and it's hard being a single mom of twins now that I recently stopped working and took leave.

I had a ton of nb clothes and honestly my babies pretty much wore the same 4 outfits over and over.  The little footie pajamas are all they wore! They're easy, baby stays warm, and i didn't have to fight with keeping baby socks on.  Now they're a little bigger and in 3mo clothes, so they wear a bigger variety of clothes.  But i still have them in those footie pjs if we're staying in the house,  the ac makes their toes cold even though i keep it at 76 degrees.

I'd get a bit more my daughter was 5lbs and wore preemie for 2 weeks and now at almost 5 weeks she's still swimming in newborn clothes

Dang I'm the opposite! I received tons of NB clothes for the twins and none 3-6 months and up. I had to start buying 3 months and up clothing for my twins.

Babies grow extremely fast. Buy a couple new born outfits but mostly what you will need is 0-3m 3-6m I had a little girl and some of her newborn clothes she didn't even wear because she grew so fast. So with second baby I told everyone to buy me bigger clothes lol.
