my new boyfriend ( about two months) continuously comments about how "sexy" or "hot" girls on tv shows/movies are right in front of me. It kind of bothers me but I try not to say anything because they are on the tv. do you think I shouldn't worry about it or is it rude of him? I've never had a boyfriend make comments like this before.

I personally think it's in poor taste to do that. I don't talk about how "amazingly sexy" another man is in front of my boyfriend. It's insensitive to his feelings. And he doesn't talk about other girls "gorgeous butts or boobs" in front of me either. We have eyes for eachother only. Go ahead, call me old fashioned. I personally don't like my man drooling over another girls looks. Would it be different if he was saying those things about his coworkers or your female friends instead of celebrities? It's just not my style.

my boyfriend does the same thing. sometimes I think he does it just to be funny and poke fun at me. it really doesn't bother me bc I made comments about guys. we both love each other so I'm not really bothered by it

I've been married almost 6 years & my husband still does this. I'd say it's just a guy thing. You will used to it, as long as he treats you the way you should be treated, then I wouldn't worry about it. If later on down the road it still bothers you, try talking to him about it.

My fiancé and I talk about how hot other girls are but I don't worry because I trust him. Men will ALWAYS look at other chicks but remember you're the one he's coming home to. I would be concerned if he acted on it. Just start mentioning how hot/sexy you think a guy is on tv and see what his reaction is. There is nothing wrong with thinking someone else is attractive, doesn't mean you want them to be your bf/gf.

Do I back to him like ok I'm bi so most likey if my boyfriend found a girl attractive I would too and if he comments saying a girl is hot I would agree or if you prefer guys just do it back to home with guys and say how much you love their muscles or what ever else. I would do it with personality it would hurt more because it's a part of their character and he can just go to the gym and get that. Idk if this was way to harsh 😂 sorry Ima go 🤘🏽

My boyfriend and I talk about people on tv All the time. But both of us talk about men and women. Neither of us call them hot or sexy out of respect for one another because neither of us would like that. But relationship dynamics are so different for everyone! If it upsets you, especially where you are in the relationship, I think it would be best if you just mention that it bothers you and work on it!

My BF doesn't do this and apparently he don't fancy women off the tv or look when out because apparently "his words " i am perfect and all he needs and why look when I'm better than him and his lucky to have me and all I do! it would bother me... talk to him and tell him how it makes you feel. I think communication and honesty are definitely two of the main things to make a relationship last.
