Cramps?

So I was supposed to get my period yesterday and I've been having cramps since Sunday. I felt so sure that I was going to get it but I still haven't today. I took a cheap test (first signal) and I got a positive result. I'm in shock after trying for about 5 months and since I'm cramping I'm not too sure. What do you guys think? Is cramps normal?
