Anatomy scan?

Im 20+5 today and i do not see my midwife till july 7th. I'm a ftm so this may be a completely odd question but is it normal to recieve a scan after 20weeks because every mom i know has had their scan around 18-20 weeks.

Im very curious if i do not get one on july 7th is it something i should bring up? 
I'm never told by my midwife when anything is going to happen i get to my appointment and then she does what she so pleases. And when i ask her a question she refers me to read about it on the internet, slightly disappointed with her advice. It's my very first pregnancy and my mother has passed so i don't have her for advice either.

Yes it’s normal, I had mine at 21 weeks and 3 days

If she's not willing to answer your questions, you need to seek a new midwife, she's not doing anything for you. She's supposed to be there to answer questions and guide you through the pregnancy process. As for the anatomy scan, it depends on the practitioner. My doctor doesn't do the anatomy scan until 24 weeks.

It sounds like you need to switch midwives because no one should ever tell you to get your information from the internet that is the worst place to look for information it doesn't seem like she's very helpful to you anyways I had my anatomy scan at 18 weeks if you do not receive it on your next appointment I would definitely bring it up with her
