SPD???

I'm almost 26 weeks with baby number 3 and I've been having lots of strange pains in the area on and under my baby bump all the way around to my back. I asked my midwife today at my baby appointment and the way I described the pains, she said it might be SPD...Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction...I've never even heard of this so I'm trying to do some research. I was just curious if anyone here has ever had to deal with this too? And any info you have about it...TIA!!
