Is it safe to try to speed things up? Just bought some because I seen it and I'm not sure if it's okay to use?

I've tried the primrose oil and it's done Nothing for me at all

My midwife told me for it to be effective you need to start taking it early in pregnancy. She doesn't recommend it anymore for various reasons. I took it with my last and it didn't make any difference. I'm just going to avoid it this time.

I've been taking it since 34 weeks. I am now almost 38 weeks. No baby yet. Lol but I've read that it makes ur cervix "more ready" and maybe helps labor go smoother

I've been taking it since 30 weeks. It softened my cervix by 33 weeks. I haven't had my cervix checked since but I'm 36 weeks now.

Its safe. I dont know if it will "speed things up". Ive been taking it since 35 weeks orally and occasionally vaginally and my cervix was hard and closed at my 38.5 wk check up 🙁 i thought for sure i'd be atleast soft! Doesnt hurt to try though!!
