Eating burn food?

I read that you aren't supposed to eat burn food while pregnant because it can have cancer causing things in it.. ??? Anyone know anything about this ..

Yes, the chared part of any burnt food is where the carcinogens or potential cancer causing agents exist. The occasional burnt hamburger off a grill, for example, probably isn't going to be bad.

I've never heard that honestly. I would think over cooked food would be better then under cooked though.
