Menstrual like cramping at 35+5 weeks

I've been having menstrual like cramps on and off for the last 2 days. I'll be 36 weeks on Sunday. On a pain scale, they're like a 2, so I'm not super worried but I just don't know what they are. I keep waking up in the middle of the night with them. Has anyone else gotten this? I'm nervous is its the beginning of labor, and I don't feel I'm far along enough to begin labor.
