No heartbeat?! 😓😓😓😓

Question

So i went to the doctor when i was about 8 weeks and i could see my babys heart beat but couldnt hear it bc that machine didnt offer sound. Since then, i have switched insurance and i havent been back to the doctor. I am now 14 weeks. I still have never heard the heartbeat. So i ordered a fetal doppler which i had for my first pregnancy and it worked great. I tried for a couple minutes and could not find a heartbeat at all. But i have had no cramping. No spotting or bleeding at all. I am starting to get worried that something is wrong. Everything has felt normal with this pregnancy. Is it maybe too early to hear the heartbeat with a fetal doppler? Please tell me im worrying too much. Advice!

UPDATE: Today i tried again after the help of youtube videos. And i finally heard the strong heartbeat of our baby for the first time! Thanks everybody.

Hey don't worry too much most midwifes  like to wait until 16 weeks as it can not always be heard before then, try just above your pubic bone and angle it around press down a little but not too much hope this helps😊 but don't worry too much it all just depends on position of baby x

I am on the thicker side (not fat just always had that lower belly chub) I found baby's heartbeat at 9W•3D on my home Fetal Doppler. I definitely watched LOTS of YouTube videos to get used to & know about the different sounds I would hear.

You must aim the probe low, like where your pubic hair starts and move around slowly! 😊

To check if the sound you are hearing IS in fact baby's count the beats for 15 seconds & times it by 4! Anything 120-180 is baby's!

Example: 
40 beats in 15 seconds times 4 = 160 💓

I couldn't hear my baby's that early either.. but I did see it on the monitor.. I'm not 32 weeks and it's still going strong 😊

1) you have to be in the exact right spot early on....

2) use headphones, cuts the background noise out so it's easier to hear HB.

Since you already have the Doppler watch some YouTube videos they kind of show you where to look and stuff cuz you should definitely be able to find a Heartbeat by now I don't know how you can sleep without hearing it at least one time especially all the way at 14 weeks don't assume anything I don't want to scare you either but I would take some time out tonight YouTube videos lay down try to find it and if not I know this is sounds like a stupid idea but I don't care it's your baby do what you want I go to the emergency room just to make sure but if you're not as hype about it as I am if you feel like everything's okay then be okay I'm just telling you what I would do

I had them check mine at my 13 week appointment and she said "don't be discouraged if I can't find it, sometimes it's hard until your further along" so don't fret! You say the heart beat on the screen and that tells you you're doing just fine. I know it's comforting to hear it, but if they're not concerned I wouldn't be either!

8 weeks couldn't hear the heart beat, but see it
10 weeks couldn't find the baby with Doppler at the doctors
13 weeks I finally heard my baby after I expressed my worries about not hearing the baby. She looked for a few minutes (I'm also chubby) and found the baby really low and to the right.
You'll be OK, make sure you're pushing hard enough and looking low enough

I've heard mine at 9 weeks. But it was very tricky to find. At about 12 weeks I could find it regularly. But baby is not "in your belly" area at this point. It's waaaaaay low, like by your pubic area. Mine even would be behind my pubic bone- I had to angle the Doppler. Watch you tube videos! Those helped me a lot!
