2 week appointments?

I have an appointment on July 5th to see my OB. I will be 30 weeks then, up til now I have only had appointments every 4 weeks. When will the 2 week appointments start? When do you think the dr will start checking me? I say that because for every appointment I have been well groomed down there and it makes me mad that I spend so much time grooming for them not to check me! Lazy I know but it's such a pain!
