6 week check up?

Went for my six week check up last week and is it weird that my dr didn't examine me or do a pelvic? This is my third and I had pelvic exams with my first two at my checkups. Just wondering what the point of the visit was if they don't want to see if I healed or not

My doctor didn't check me either. Just asked me what kind of birth control I wanted and that was it.

I had stitches too and my doctor didn't check me. Just asked about birth control

I think my dr only checked me because I had some tearing that had to be stitched. Not sure they would have otherwise. Was my first child.
