I think my baby is sick

I have a 2 month old and i dont think he feels good today :( he crys and doesn't want to be put down hes been sleeping of and on all freaking day hes been crying off and on also. It doesn't feel like he had a fever but usually hes happy and active and smiley but today hasn't been a normal day.. do any of you think he could be sick or what? I also think he might have GERD of that could make him sick also he cant seem to sleep at night for the past 2 days at all i feel so bad for him
