Should I get induced at 41 or 42?

Jessica
I am 3 days past my due date and the Dr asked me if how I feel about induction. I could get induced at 41 weeks, or I could opt for fetal stress tests at 41 and if all is good wait until 42. I know that due dates can be off, but I'm almost positive mine is not because I had an IUI. Also, each time the Dr measured me I measured right on. As of 5 days ago I was still not dilated at all. I do have quite a few BH contractions per day, and lately I've had increased back pain and sharp pains in my vagina which I imagine may be my cervix opening up...?
Pros: I am very small (5'0 tall, small framed) and worry about the growing size of the baby and him being able to easily fit through my pelvis. Inducing at 41 would lower the risks of my placenta becoming tired and baby breathing in meconium.
Cons: I know I should stay off of Google, but I've read a lot of information (on medical sites, too, not just forums) on the risks. I'm mostly scared about the increased risk of an emergency c-section, which I read on one site can be up to 67%. Also the stuff about lowering the baby's heart rate and putting him in stress, him stalling out at 8cm or during pushing time, and lowering his oxygen levels. Prolonging labor by several hours. And that since pitocin increases labor pain double that an epidural may not even take.
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated! I have anxiety, constantly second guess myself, and worry that I will make the wrong decision.
