Swimming??

Question

It is SO HOT where I live l. I want to go swimming but the river/lake is freezing I don't want the shock of how cold it is to hurt my baby am 9 weeks 3 days today anyone else scared or talk to there obgyn. About this ??

I am 9 weeks and 4 days. My ob urged me to swim as much as possible through this pregnancy because it's great and safe exercise, and she also told me that once I start to get big and uncomfortable that swimming will relieve alot of pressure! I've been swimming almost everyday this summer,  just avoiding hot tubs and water slides 😉

I haven't heard anything against swimming - but have heard you should avoid hot tubs and super hot baths.  I can't imagine that if you can swim in it, that it's so cold it could hurt the baby but I would definitely run it by your doctor :)
