I need to let off some steam here. First off I can't wait until this federal investigation is over with. this guy who is our city tax collector is charging me more with taxes than anything since this investigation even came out. Since that incident occurred with me last august. I would not owe vehicle taxes for the entire year until the year after for a vehicle. This is beginning to be too much money! Every time I try to do something with my vehicle now, I gotta pay his office money. Now its time to renew my tags and I'm owing him vehicle taxes again. In august he taxed me on the wrong vehicle, knowing I was suppose to pay taxes for a previous vehicle. Now again he's taxing me for another previous vehicle. Everytime I go to renew tags, the office say their air went out and they are going home for the day. I never paid vehicle taxes every year. if I didn't owe taxes last month, how do I owe taxes this month!?? When this issue first occurred, they said their air was out for almost a week and I didn't owe taxes! I came back around this time Monday morning of last year to get my tags renewed. The assessor told the lady in the revenue office that I owed taxes. She stated that I didn't owe taxes for that whole entire week and came back morning she said "I owe taxes". Now its time for me to renew my vehicle tags and I'm going through this same thing. I never paid vehicle taxes every year until this investigation happened.
