Has anyone ever experienced this from a pregnancy test!?

So frustrated! I have been TTC for several months and since I am over 2 weeks late with my period (the dr. Thinks I may have PCOS, periods have become irregular) I took a test a week ago. The test seemed to work fine except this strange dot formed. Just a dot. I chalked this up as a negative and tossed the test. I took another test today since I have to to start Provera to kick start my period and the same thing happened!!! I've never seen this happen before but I am pissed! pregnancy tests, especially FRER are not cheap! What is this? These dots were not here prior to testing. It is not something stuck to the window. Same dot, same spot, in both tests. It makes me think that the test is defective somehow 😒😒😒 annoying.
