Did birth control help you conceive faster?

Question

I was told by my doctor to take birth control pills for about 3 months and then stop taking them to help me conceive faster. I wanted to know how this work for any of you ladies. Thank you for your responses

Since my first son was conceived while iwas in birth control I'd  say there's some truth to this. My doctor also told me the same thing. This is my first month off of it. Cycle day 45 and no sign of af. Going to test tomorrow since I have pcos it makes my natural cycles crazy and usually around 43 days long. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the birth control did the trick.

I can understand the logic of the Doctor telling you that. I wish I would have came off and immediately started tracking and knowing the things I know now. I do think it could have made a bigger difference. I stopped birth control in September 2015 and haven't had any luck yet.
