My fiancé and I have had this talk and spanking will happen if we have kids. Abuse is leaving them bruised and bloody and hitting them for enjoyment. Discipline is giving them a swat on the ass when they do wrong and know it's wrong. My brother and I were spanked and I learned "no means no" because I didn't want to get spanked! He said exactly the same!

The ONLY time I ever saw my father rage at my brother was because my brother swing a knife at me during an argument. It hit my finger, cut to the bone, hit a vein and I bled all over the place. It was deserved, honestly.

I was spanked and I think spanking can be good because I sure learned my lesson but I was never abused so I know the difference in spanking and  beating a child but my fiance was abused bad and he doesn't believe in spanking.. we talked about it and I understand where he's coming from and how he feels so I decided no spanking.. unless for some reason we have one of those God awful kids that never listens and talks back and slaps you in the face.. that's when a spanking will happen lol.. knock on wood for a good boy and not a mean little shit lol.. y'all know the difference 😂
