I want a baby now

We got married a little over a month ago. I have baby fever and want to have a baby now. My husband said he would be happy if I was pregnant, but at times contradicts himself, saying he doesn't want to try to conceive until later. How can I convince him 100% he's ready, or should I wait? I'm still on birth control, should I just stop it and have fun and not worry about stressing about conceiving? Or should I take it until he comes to me?
