Did I have a miscarriage?

I missed my period last month so I decided to take a pregnancy test and I got a faint positive I waited a few days and took another and it was negative that was a few weeks ago and I haven't thought anything of it until I woke up in the middle of the night and I had bleed everywhere I usually have super light periods and no cramps but I am having to wear a super tampon and a maxi pad or else I'll bleed in my underwear and I have to change the tampon and pad every 30 mins to an hour because it's absolutely soaked in blood. I don't know if this is a miscarriage or just a super heavy period... What do you all think and if you think it's a miscarriage what should I do...
