I went for a growth scan today, all well.

Went to talk to the consultant and the first thing she said was "I think you are mentally ill because you have so many addmissions" I then said "excuse me?" To which she replied "there's nothing wrong with you we never find anything" she then went on to say "it must be all in your head" and that I should not come back unless I have a "BIG gush of water or severe bleeding" 

I have a heart condition and blood condition (not severe but I have to be careful) I also have resus negative blood so any bleeding would need to be seen too, the way she spoke to me I seem to find completely disgusting, so when I had explained that I had these problems I also for other reasons had been told a while back I wouldn't be able to conceive in the first place and have previously had a misscarrage, maybe I am a little over cautious. However to tell a 34 week pregnant lady as she walks out the door she's "wasting everyone's time", is no attitude for a doctor.
