Returning to Breastfeeding
Both of my children have a lip tie which has made breastfeeding tough. We didn't know about my sons until I stopped breastfeeding due to weight loss. We were in the doctors constantly due to the weight loss so I was nervous about breastfeeding my daughter but I tried. A few days ago, I stopped producing as much and decided to stop. After days of guilt and knowing I could try harder, I decided to try again. I pumped about an ounce this morning and hoping to really dive in full force. Any tips? Any success stories of stopping for a few days then restarting?
Also, anyone decide to clip their infants lip tie? How did it go? Did it help with nursing?
Thank you!
