To call or not to call?
At my last doctor appointment my doctor told me I was about 4 cm dilated but I haven't been having any painful contractions. He did a membrane sweep that day and I lost my bloody show that night and the following day. Still had only mild cramping and feeling tense. Have been feeling the same for the past few days. Last night my SO and I went walking around 10. My stomach got very heavy, I felt a lot of pressure on my pelvis (like a ton), my stomach also got very tense and hard. It was consistent for about 2 hrs. I was also experiencing some lower back pain.
Now the next day, my due date (July 8th) my whole body feels different and very uncomfortable. I don't know how to explain it. But I've been experiencing the same pains again. This time, a little worse with some sharp pain in my stomach. I also feel very nauseous and have a bad headache.
Yesterday someone on here asked me why I wasn't at the hospital for being close to 4 cm dilated. So I looked up if I could dilate without feeling strong contractions. Feeling like maybe this could be it? A few weeks back, I was in L&D and didn't even know I was contracting until the nurse told me.
I'm a ftm so I'm not really sure on what to do. Can't call my mom because she's working right now. Any insights on what to do ladies? I could really use some help.
